ABOUT HONOR THEIR COURAGE
Honor Their Courage is an educational service-learning program provided by Wounded Warrior Project® (WWP) that offers students the opportunity to learn about the history, sacrifices, and realities of military service members and veterans while fundraising to support injured veterans.
HOW IT WORKS
Register your classroom or school — share with other educators to join and see the impact your educators and students can make together. When you join your school or register your classroom, you'll gain access to educational resources to help you create an engaging, interactive lesson plan for your students. We have a variety of activities, videos, and learning opportunities for all ages — just pick what works best.
Examples of resources include:
- Values activities for your students to learn about the character traits of military service members and veterans
- Age-appropriate videos of warriors sharing their stories
- Veteran-inspired activities
- Take-home activities to help students learn about the veterans in their lives and local community
FUELING THE MISSION
Your students and school can make a tangible impact in the lives of the warriors WWP serves by raising funds as they learn. When you register, a fundraising page will be available to share with students, parents, friends, and family members. Earn great prizes as you fundraise!*
*Certain prizes are one per school. For questions, please contact honortheircourage@woundedwarriorproject.org.
